£600-£650 Gaming Computer help please

Hi Guys

So for Christmas i get to buy and build my own computer for the first time (total noob ).

Below is my list of components i currently like but i really want the best overall computer for my money, Thank you all for your help in advance!

CPU - I5 - 4690K 3.5GHz
Motherboard - MSI Z97 Pc Mate ATX LGA1150
Ram G. Skill Ripjaws x series 8GB
Storage - SSD or 1TB HD
GFX - MSI Geforce GTX 960
Case - Corsair Spec-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case
PS - Suggestions?

No OS or anything else needed this is just for the base.

This is a smidge over budget but you do get a GTX970 and an SSD.

You can save later for additional HDD storage and a decent CPU cooler to overclock the CPU

Wow thank you for that, it's amazing.

Quick question about the PS - is it enough to run the card or should i stick with my current 650W one (it's a cheap unbranded one really).

Depends on the brand you've got now. The 450w Superflower will power that build with ease
