Hello superhumans!

I have about £600 (or less!) to upgrade my current system and would like some advice on which CPU/Motherboard/RAM and also if it is worth the upgrade...

I currently have the below with the CPU and GFX under water.
Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Case (2 x 240 rads)
Intel i5 3570K @4.5Ghz
8Gb Samsun Green RAM
GA-Z77X-D3H Motherboard
EVGA Superclocked 980Ti
Corsair RM Series RM 850 '80+ Gold' 850W
IIYAMA ProLite GB2488HSU-B1 24 inch (144Hz @1920x1080)

Thanks in advance.

[Edit! Forgot to mention i do a fair but of gaming and some media encoding so I would assume i7 would be better?)

In terms of gaming, you won't gain much by upgrading your CPU as the 3570k is still a pretty good gaming chip. An i7 will provide you with better minimum frames in games that properly utilise more than 4 cores, such as Battlefield, but that's not enough to warrant a £600 upgrade in my opinion.

Encoding is a different story though. You could near enough double your encoding performance by getting a modern i7, so depending on how much you plan on encoding an upgrade could be quite worthwhile. See the link I've provided below for benchmarks. A 5820k would be my CPU of choice if I were in your shoes.
