I know its not much but i'd like specced a good i5 760/phenom 6core/i7 depending on price thanks.

I want a decent processor since I don't really want to OC.

The computer will be used for gaming and Gfx card 5770 or better.

Just over, but you can drop the cpu cooler if not clocking, imo this is best bet given your budget

Thats nice that build but i'd like cheaper. I was concidering the Gtx 460 though, how much better than the 5770 is it price+performance?

yeah I saw you said 6 core but if gamings your focus 4 cores is more than enough and the extra money is better spent on gfx than cpu

That's a very good spec the only component I'm possibly change would be the PSU. I'd definitely save the extra to get the 460 and I usually buy ATI cards. It's a good bit more powerful than a 5770.

as I say ditch the cpu cooler if youre not really gonna clock, youre only just over your 600 budget then, if you have to stay under look at a 768mb version of the 460
