hi there i'm wondering if you could help me. i'm in the process of building a computer. i would like to build a gaming machine. one game in special. guild wars 2. i have a budget of £600. any help would be greatfull :)

the parts i won't need are a hard drive, pc case, power pack and rom, + writer.
i have a gfx card but im not sure ifs it still good enough to play new games. it is a Ati HD 4850 1Gig. im looking for a good Cpu+fan, Motherboard, Memory, and if gfx card isnt ok anymore i would like a new one.

Thats good, a decent PSU :)

Cant go wrong with beejjacobs spec :)

(the memory is on offer which finishes tomorrow am were a new set of offers come into play)

thanks beejjacobs and mickyflinn for your help :) looks like im looking at my new system. will be ordering this week or just the start of the next week.

cheers all :)

No problem :) Idlemans re done the spec to show new prices (offers have changed now). If you don't order before next Wednesday come back for another spec check :)

ive been looking at the overclock bundles and im wondering would this be good for gaming. FX6 SPEC OPS" AMD FX-6 6100 3.30 @ 4.40GHz Overclocked Bundle? and if i added the MSI HD 7850 Twin Frozr III OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card and a ssd. i know i had a budget of £600 but i could put a bit extra to get a ssd drive aswell.

or is the i5 much better to go with? im just asking as ive never really looked up bulldozer chips before.

loving new pc ) cheers guys.

Edit: had a few problems over the past few days. the pc would freeze and turn off on its own. i have the Z77-D3H motherboard. i read up and found that changing the bclk to 1.00.1 could fix this problem.

I've updated bios and changed bclk to 1.00.1 and it seems to be working 100% now. fingers crossed :)
