Can any folks help me, got £600 to play with, dont need a new case, need a new PSU, mobo, cpu, ram and SSD though for my machine. Ive got GFX and screen already and will be picking up a case separately.

Unsure what the best combo of parts is these days with the ivybridge out etc!

Is this for a gaming build?

Do you have a HDD for storage?

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £184.99

• Motherboard has SLI+Crossfire support
• PSU is made by Seasonic and is modular
• Fast RAM at a good price.
• Nice aftermarket cooler.

Yeh I've got a storage HDD already, just wanting an SSD for boot/app purposes! Yes it'll be for some gaming aye!

The machine wont be for overclocking though so a retail HSF should be fine! The case I eventually plump for will have ample cooling :)
Are there any 16GB RAM options?

Then its £525 (but you get free delivery also, so its cheaper still) without the extra heatsink.

Or if you also don't care about dual GFX setups either,

Can I get 16GB RAM and/or better CPU with the spare? I've got £600 to spend (could poss nudge a bit more if its a big difference!)

Anyone recommend a replacement PSU?

Would the Xigmatek Centauro 600W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply be a good alternative which is on This Week Only?

Stick to a good make, made by a good OEM,
