Don't really want to drop to 4GB RAM 8GB is standard now.

350W psu is limiting for the future for a good gpu upgrade / overclocking (possibility)

FX6 core isn't a bad processor. performs better than an I3 and can be overclocked if wanted in the future. Also will be more futureproof.

750ti performs worse than a R7 265 anyway.

That monitor only has a VGA input as well

This is teh build as it stands now

It's like talking to a wall >_>

1stly
no the haswelli3 is not worse than the fx6. The haswell i3 is a very very good processor and in fact performs better for the things a girl wants to do. More precisely single threaded is better and only when overclocked to extreme does the fx6 become "better" in which case why buy an fx6 when you can buy an i5 for better cost...

you want to oc later? we're talking about a girl - she won't care as long as it runs what she wants...

2ndly "performs worse than r7 265 anyway". That won;t matter when dx12 comes out and the r7 265 can't run <_<

3rdly the improvements to gfx and processors is going in the direction of lower power consumption (apart from AMD which are crappy old tech "clocked higher" to perform and so MORE power is used)

4thly the i3 build will perform much faster for the simple fact of SSD. a 1TB HDD takes forever to do anything...

5thly a 750ti and later generations perform better perfectly fine for 1080p and you will hardly notice a difference

6thly you can get 8GB ram if you look, i just simply didnt look around, only to show you that you can get a better build for the same money

if you still only want that - spend a fraction more and get a longer lasting cpu - the i5:
