So hey guys. Being lurking around a little, some nice rigs going on around here. I'm wondering if you can help me/put me in the right place..

So I'm saving up £600 for a new PC (Will be buying in around 10 weeks) Will be mainly used for rendering, gaming and photoshopping. But I want to know will it be ok to use for like 3-4 until I buy a better CPU and motherboard.

So the specs are the following:

So I'm planning on overclocking the CPU to 4Ghz. So is this good enough to last until March?
Thanks for reading.

I just upgraded from a AMD 965BE, its a really good allround CPU as i also used it for the same features you mention, Photoshop, video rendering, recording and even 3D Animations. But compared to the i5-3570K is not even close to been as fast as it. But of course money is important this was just to show you how much the Intel would cost you so maybe saving that tiny bit extra will saves you a lot in the long run :)

With the 965BE though ive seen people struggle to get it past 3.8GHz sadly so 4.0GHz may not be possible.

I've put you a Intel build so you can see what price it would be, for a little more you can get a very capable system, as that CPU has amazing rendering power and with a 560 will give you an amazing gaming experience. I tried to keep everything the same but changed the case to something more placid, and cheaper :)
