Hello,

My sister is after a new PC that will last her and family a long time (she currently has a XP machine). She already has Windows 8 64 Pro and needs two monitors, although the second one is for a different machine. The machine should be able to handle some light gaming but nothing serious.

Budget is around £600 with one monitor (Obviously a bit more with two). Please feel free to swap any parts as I’m no expert. If it can be done cheaper that would be good:

AMD A10-5700 3.40GHz (Socket FM2) APU Trinity Quad Core Processor (AD5700OKHJBOX) £91.99
Gigabyte F2A75M-D3H AMD A75 Chipset (Socket FM2) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £69.98
TeamGroup Xtreem LV 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit (TXD38G2133HC11DC01) £35.99

x2 BenQ GL2450 24" Widescreen LED Monitor - Black (£259.90)
Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive £89.99
Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DL002) £59.99
Xigmatek Asgard Pro Gaming Case - Black £32.99
OCZ CoreXtreme 500w '80 Plus' Power Supply £32.99
OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £14.99
Blaze K3285 Multimedia Slim USB Keyboard - Black £7.99
Gigabyte M5650 1000 DPI Mouse - Black £6.98

Total : £703.78

Or would a Intel Core i3-3220 3.30GHz build be a lot better?
Any thoughts appreciated

Going to be honest mate, there is nothing id change about that.

Going trinity is a good idea, has better gpu than the 3220, so benifits may be seen.

Great spec.
