£600 gaming build

I may wait until Bulldozer, simply to see what my options are but I am strongly considering a new sandybridge build.

I do NOT need an OS, Monitor, Mouse, or Keyboard. I could possibly push to £650 if it means a small outlay for a worthwhile performance gain but I would rather not. Rig will be used for general use, gaming (want it to run Battlefield 3/Skyrim/Witcher 2 etc to a high standard) and some video editing. I was thinking of a 2500k and a 6950 1gb but I know that card may be a stretch given the budget.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Top end of your budget, but the motherboard includes a Heatsink needed for the OEM CPU.

It supports SLI and Crossfire and the PSU.

Similar sort of thing, but this motherboard only has a single 16X slot so only supports one graphics card.

heres what i came up with:

if anandtech is anything to go by the 6950 1GB is a bit better than the 560Ti, but i'll let stulid answer that one
