£600 new build - its upgrade time

I would go for it but I've got 16gb of vengence c8 ram + already got the ocuk h2flo cooler(basically the corsair h60). oh and not to mention the £70+ I'm having to spend o get my mobo sorted(well already spent £35 with the failed rma to ocuk, not need to spend similar to send to asrock).
 
Ohhh hello! Reaper 392 has been heavily recommending that thermalright Silver Arrow.

I really don't know anything about overclocking. I was just going to try and get as much improvement out of it as possible without breaking it or shortening its lifespan dramatically.

@stulid, I cold easily be swayed to another case if you have something else in mind / doubts. I did spend a long time trying to choose between the Coolermaster 690II Advanced , white special edition, lite and this Cm storm case.

All recommendations welcome

the difference between the silver arrow and the gelid is probably going to be 4.5 or 4.6Ghz for the gelid vs 4.8Ghz for the silver arrow. the silver arrow will be quieter than the gelid as well

for the case any of those will be great. since your budget was originally £600 i'll suggest the 690 lite or CM storm so that i dont end up telling you to spend over £750, because they will both be more than happy with crossfire 5870s

in both cases your getting what you pay for. they both are about the same loudness, but the silver arrow is a lot cooler
