£600 PC spec for gaming?

My friend needs a spec for a gaming PC, his current old PC has major issues and we can't pin down what the issue is, so can't use any old parts on it.

Whats the best you guys can do?

Doesn't need a CD drive and probably doesn't need a HDD, he has a Spinpoint F3

I'd go with the XFX PSU. The corsair is Modular, which is good but with this setup you'll only be losing two cables at most (SATA, Molex).. AS it's a big case, it can easily be hidden..

XFX 's are made by seasonic (PSU granddaddy), that my personal choice, though nothing wrong with the corsair.
