Hey my auntie is after a new laptop, here is her message:

I have a MacBook pro, but am not keen on it as cant use corel draw which is my most used program + other things I don't like, so am looking to sell it and get another laptop. I use it a lot for storing and editing high resolution photos of my paintings which I need for sending to galleries, making prints and cards etc, and also use up a lot of space with music and recordings (recording tunes to learn weekly) so probably need lots of space, what laptop do you think I should go for?

Shes after ideally a 15" quality screen and shes tried windows via bootcamp on the MBP and found she had too many issues with it.

I believe she wants to keep storage internal for the most part. But im sure I could convince her to go small SSD + external HDD as an SSD just makes life so amazing especially on a laptop.

Anyway im a bit out of the loop laptop wise and i'm not too sure what to be looking at.

Thanks for your time :)

I did that with bootcamp and worked ok for a while but now I cant open windows at all, it just stalls during start up, so was thinking of taking it back off

Apple MacBook Pro, MD101B/A, Intel Core i5, 500GB, 4GB RAM, 13.3", its still under guarantee

Tbh I'd have thought shes struggling to get something around the 600 mark like that?

shes not super techy and i'm not even remotely close enough to have a look at the thing.
