Planning on buying myself a nice new computer, and I've pursuaded myself that £600 is a good budget (gulp..). Looking at other people spec me threads, I've come up with the following.

spec.jpg

Total (inc VAT) £576.45

Can anyone see any obvious flaws in my plan, or recommended an alternative for anything? It'll be for games mostly, and to give me a good base for adding to in the future. My particular concerns are, will that PSU be good enough? And will it all fit in an AO5NB?

nothing wrong there, just that 1600mhz ram tends to be cheaper than 1333mhz ram, it is at ocuk anyway.

PSU is great.

A little bit cheaper at OCUK, and you get free delivery too.

Cant afford it, and a 2400 cpu doesn't have a unlocked multiplier so overclocking will have to rely on the turbo boost only.

keep spamming, only 15 more posts to go.

turbo is good enough better than the standard clock and I have 125 posts to go! :p

Why does the members market require 250 posts

Thanks. Reason for not going OcUK is I can pick it up in my lunch tommorrow.

Is there a benefit to the 1600mhz ram? As far as I can tell that board can't use it?

it will work at what ever speed is set in the bios, so thats 1333mhz I believe at stock,

being rated upto 1600mhz gives more overclocking headroom.

and the motherboard does fit the case;)
