I've managed to sell my existing PC so with some additional cash I've got £600 to spend.

I've already got a 4850 Graphics Card which I'm happy with and a Corsair HX620 PSU.

Needs to be spec'd with quiet perfomance in mind so fans need to be included if the stock units are anything more than a whisper :)

Will be used for photo editing and some gaming.

So you dont want another graphics card?

Best thing to do right now, would be to wait and see how i5 turns out before putting down any kind of serious money.

Sept 8th is reveal date, so you might wanna hang on till then.

I'm not selling the 4850 with the PC as the buyer just wants an HTPC for DVD's etc. I've only got a 22" monitor so the 4850 will be fine for the time being, then become a 2nd card when I upgrade.

As it's replacing a near silent (bar the 4850) HTPC I'm a little worried about the volume.

I don't mind getting a better case if it's uber quiet :)

if your PC is going to be an HTPC i would definitely recommend a sound card, because you will probably need the optical outs.

My existing PC used the Gigiabyte 780G motherboard so I originally overlooked that.

Suggestions for a nice sounds card would be great. I'll be scrapping my PC speakers for an Amp and Bookshelf speakers in the near future.
