£600 spec please

hi all, just wanting to do my first custom build. it will be used for programming, image (and maybe video) editing and gaming. I've put together a build below:

Also im liking the coolermaster elite 341 (link) but its not instock at ocuk.

just a few questions:

1) ive heard the stock amd heatsinks are noisy so added the freezer 7 pro. Will this quieten things down?
2) Can the athlon 440 be reliably unlocked to a phenom ii x4?
3) I havent included a motherboard as theres so many i just got confused. Do i need a specific motherboard to unlock the athlon 440?
4) Are there any cheaper high quality keyboards? it needs to have low profile keys (like a laptop).

but you will need to change the harddrive, unless you want to do a firmware update of it? get a seagate 7200.12

unlocking cores is anyones guess, could work, could not?

thanks for the reply but £85 for a mobo is quite steep. Is there nothing cheaper that'll work?

EDIT: im also not too bothered with sata/usb 3 so maybe a 700 series chipset could work?

not really, you need a certain southbridge to be able to unlock cores.

ok that looks gd but its atx (my current case choice only fits micro-atx). Would an antec 300 be a good case?

keyboard is expensive. logitech G11 is £22ish

got no idea about the 22"screen.

and if you can unlock a core , then great.

as long as you pick a 7** series chipset motherboard then the harddrive is ok.

with a 8** chipset. the harddrive may need a firmware update thats available on the samsung website.

Hows the g11 for typing? As my job is mostly programming a nice keyboard is essential (hence why i was willing to pay £45 for one).

thats a good spec right there, Its just the screen that is an unknown value

You're spec is pretty good for the money.BTW the answer to question nr.2 is no.Ahtlon IIs are totally different chips than the Phenom IIs.You might be able to unlock the 440 to a full Athlon II quad but not to a Phenom II.

some of the graphs are lower is better.

AthlonII X4 635 is a nice cpu
