Hi this is my first time building a pc. I was wondering what you thought about these parts.

Are these parts the best bang for buck performance wise? Also would i need to buy certain cables to connect certain parts or do all the parts come with the necessary cables ect.

Thanks

James

Looks good apart from your missing a graphics card and you might want to get a better power supply depending on choice of graphics card

What about a graphics card? Does that need to be in your £600 budget, or can you spare a bit more money for that, or do you already have one?

Most of these mobos don't have it. I think 965G chipsets have on-board video...

If you're planning on upgrading, get a 7600GS. I have one, it plays games fine right now :) But I'm upgrading later on, maybe to an 8900 or a cheaper 8800.

Nawh, Antec 900 is nice IMO :) I like that case, it'd be my choice if I were to spend a lot on a case. It's got enough space to fit a GTX, so its not really "small" or anything... :)

The only thing I'd say is glaringly obvious about your spec is the PSU ... it's always worth spending more on a good brand of PSU ;)
