Hi all

Ive got 600 to spend on a new pc. I need monitor ( 19" ) the base unit and also speakers ( 2.1 ).

What would be the best route for me to take? Intel or AMD?

Im a bit out of touch with all this new stuff and was wondering if anyone could spec me up please.

Need to be able to run the latest games half decent, around 200 gig hard drive and as much mem as possible!

Would i get a decent setup for my budget ?

Any help would be great.

To go for a core 2 duo would mean spending closer to £700, im not an expert but somebody will most likely tell you that you if you want to overclock will need better cpu cooling and a seperate PSU.

Just something i cobbled together as a basic outline. To go Intel may be a little more expensive.
