6000.000 and my news

good work. last time i was folding i bought the gtx670 because amd cards were pants :( they are epic now.
when my bonus points kick in. i'll be right after ya! ;) i've got a 7970 and a gtx 670. my estimated ppd is 175k, but im getting much lower due to the internet failing regularly.

mmmm i suppose i can hijack my sons pc when he not here ..he is running a 7990 it did cross my mind when he was away for a 5 days

Talking of failing i kept getting driver crash until i installed the beta 14.7 now much better

the 7990 should be good, it just 2 7970's. i got 97,000 points yesterday so i'm starting to get up to speed now :)

I have just looked ,i started 20 month ago with a 3 m0nth gap so 17 month take me al that time to do 5 000 000 but i do 1 000 000 in 2 weeks.
I started folding on a 8 core bulldozer @4.3mhz and got 12 to 13k that rig i get to brake then i had a gtx450 that did the same that was replaced with a gtx650ti that i get cheap, it was a customer return with a broken fan blade ..i just cable tie a 80mm case fan to the heatsink the 650ti did 18 to 24k until they changed the work units and it drop to 10k..now i am on the 7870 which i think is a good compromise on price power and watts ..i dont game it averaging about 70k.. did do over 80k for the 1st 2 days
 
Hi guys, apologies for the lack of news! Great timing as it broke just before my wife gave birth to our second son and I've not had chance to look into the problem yet. Fingers crossed I should be able to find a bit of time over the next few weeks to look into it :)

i'm struggling to keep my cpu and 3 gpu's going, i'm constantly having to add and remove slots to find a server that works for more than 1 WU! :mad:

these servers aren't doing me any favors i've got a gtx670, hd7970, hd6850 and my i5 folding. it should be over 200k ppd, but its harder to keep them all going during the week when my internet drops out every 5 mins and the servers break. if 1/2 of those problems get fixed then maybe i can keep it at over 100k ppd. it also doesn't help that i stopped for 18 hours to test my second 6850 which i now have in crossfire and the 7970 is sitting on my desk doing nothing :(
