6000 C30 vs 5600 C40 - real world difference?

Hey folks,

I'm planning a new build for the new year, probably a 7900 non-X, but maybe something from Intel if it makes sense at the time. Either way, it's going to need 64gb memory.

It seems easy to find 2x32 kits of 5600 with slack timings (samsung?), but the 6000 kits with cas 30 (hynix?) seem to not exist in the UK at all. Where I do see them, they're 3 weeks delivery with import fees on top.

Now I don't mind paying a premium and waiting for a good 6000 kit, but only if it's actually a significant difference. If it comes out as like 1% then I don't really care :D

TLDR, how much real world effect am I likely to see from taking the available 5600 kits vs waiting for a premium 6000 kit? Mixed use of gaming and productivity. Heaviest MC workload is likely to be Cities Skylines (it chews up an awful lot of threads and ram!), a few other games that will max a handful of cpu cores, and quite a lot of Clip Studio Paint which can get laggy with big brushes.

Thanks!
