Hi guys,
I'm in the process of putting together my PC and, given how the experience turned out to be much more daunting than I originally though it would
, I would much prefer to get everything good the first time without the need to continuously reopen my case and change things.
My PC:
i5 4670K aiming to OC to 4.3-4.5
Hyper 212 Evo
AMD 7990 aiming to modest OC as well.
I'm thinking of replacing the front stock fan with a BitFenix 200mm Spectre PRO. Replace the top fan with 2x BitFenix 120mm Spectre PRO. And having all fans directly connected to the MOBO.
My questions are:
1) What is better, a 200mm fan or 2x 120mm fans?
2) What is the best possible airflow configuration I could have here? Front intake, back exhaust, but what about the top 2x 120mm fans? Would making the rear one exhaust and the front one intake make sense?
I am keen on keeping the side window panel so I am trying to get the best airflow possible (especially for my 7990 which I reckon will be very hot). Not into cutting meshes and all these things.
Really appreciate your time in answering this.
Cheers
