Hi all I've decided to try my hand at a PSU cover but I've never attempted something like this, Either metal or acrylic as I think I'm going to get some of that nice looking carbon wrap to go on it.

Something that looks like this taken from another members mod:

Any tips on where to get the materials (Good online acrylic places?), how to go about bending if I go with metal and any other pointers extremely welcome

i think a piece of aluminium will be best, all you need is a thin slice.

go to any Engineering shop/machine shops and they should have a piece laying around, ask for abit of there scrap.

if they are a decent Engineering/machining company, they should have a machine that puts bend into metal sheets (like above) it is like a 10-15min job for them :)

unless you can source your own metal sheet, then its just getting them to put the bend in it for you.

Good tip there will have to research what's around.
I quite like the idea of making it a custom job, I have SLI so would like to add a 120mm fan in there since my PSU sucks from the bottom of the case and vents out the back. Maybe some fancy lighting that is easily hidden to make it pretty.
