600T or Haf-X

Bloody hell, what an interesting question.

Both are similiar in features, personally I would go for the cheaper of the two. I think the Corsair may do a better job of keeping out the dust, but maybe at the minor expense of temps. But until stock is available there is no definite answer.

Mind you, there is no info on the Corsair pricing yet. I have put the HAF X up as I have obtained pricing, however no ETA for the HAF, the Corsair I have no pricing, but an ETA of August for stock.

20/20 LOL

Gut instinct and experience with Corsair casing I would realistically expect the HAF X to be cheaper of the two.

I'm edging towards the 600T. Seems much more streamlined, slicker and for some reason I have the feeling it will be quieter. I agree about the temps, I think the coolermaster will have the edge here at the expense of noise, but going on what i've seen so far I think i'm going for the 600T as well.

I am also going with the 600T as it looks very well disigned. The Haf just looks ugly, though i think it will be cooler.

What a question indeed !

Have found myself musing over this very issue recently, both cases are definitely upping the ante in the mid-tower arena. A plethora of excellent features, good design and reasonable prices as far as I can tell.

To be perfectly honest, I'm leaning slightly towards the Corsair offering myself but will hold out until proper reviews start popping up. However, chances are my new rig will find a home in one of these for sure.

Edit : My bad, the HAF is -very- full in the tower lol  :p

Does it really matter? I thought the world was ending in 2012 ;)

I'd go for the 600T, if it had to be one of them. Neither are all that nice looking though, imo.

Even at £155? I can't see Corsair pricing their top end case at circa £200 and their mid range one at >£160.

Is the HAF-X not a full size tower, and the Corsair just a mid-size case?

Watched an interview with some Corsair guy at Computex 2010 and he said it should be about $150. So shouldn't be that expensive here.

If the 600T is $150 hopefully it will come out around the £110 mark but then we have got to pay "British tax". :(

The HAF X is a full tower, with 9 PCI expansion slots and room for E-ATX motherboards.
