600t white case - cooler with side vent - not window

Without being too scientific (i.e. running prime/ IBT etc....) tonight I swapped the window for the four fan grill to go on the side of my 600t (I have some fans coming next week from OC) and I cant believe the difference in temps I am seeing....

Like I say this isnt too scientifc but I am defintiely seeing the difference...

cpu
idle 5-6 degress drop
during game 10 degrees drop

liquid temp
idle 2 degrees drop
during game 9 degrees drop

My first 580 usually runs about 5 degrees hotter than the second one idle...
Now it is practically the same?

I can imagine seeing a drop but not of this considerable amount?

It happens, even moving from the stock 200mm side fan to a 230mm spectre pro on the side of my 500r I saw drops of around 6c on cpu and 10c on gpu, must be allowing tour case to breathe a little easier, your gpu temps will drop even further with fans on.
