is an ocz modx 600w powerful enough to power cf ati 5770 cards in a system? or do you need to go for a corsair 650w?

rest of system is a I5 overclocked on an asus mobo with 4gig ram, 2 hdds, 2 opticals.

I have just bought the ModXStream PRO 600watt, and just for your reference it comes with:

- 1 x 6 pin PCI-e connector
- 1 x 6+2 pin PCI-e connector.

Cripple.

i think its made by ATX

I meant the make of it, like corsiar, ABS/TAGAN, silverstone, OCZ all that, it does make a difference, the onces i mentioned are some of the decent brands there are a lot more of course

not sure, if that company is any good loool defo not part of the big players (some I mentioned

it should be enough yes...just......

its not very nice watching a powersupply unit set itself on fire put it that way, particularly when they are sods for taking something with them too

ah yea i bought the pc in a barebone set-up so got
q6600
nvidia 680i
this atx 530 psu thing
4gb ram
£just under 200
so its what you get really ! but yea dont want it to be skabby and 'just' about powerful enough !
