60fps 1080p

I am currently playing Assassins Creed: Black Flag in 1080p with all settings set to high, but I am only getting a constant 60fps is this poor?

Sounds about right tbh - never back AC: Black Flag though that sounds about right.

I'm sure I've read the game engine is locked to 60 hz.

I can't select anything higher in game.

Try turning Vsync off if that's an option.

The game seems to be locked to 60. Also, can you post your settings? Want to comapre to what I am getting, which is sub-60 on a 290 with some settings on max. Cheers
