A little good news for you guys, the 60GB 360 that came out in the US is now (coming) out in the UK.

Just checked an online etailer and they've got this baby for £199.99

That leaves you wondering now though, just why in the heck would you purchase a 360 Elite now that the Premium is exactly the same spec??

Release date is slated for the 15th August so just 3 days away :)

yep been able to pre-order these for 179.99 for a while now.
Although (as i've said elsewhere on here) I can't believe Microsoft arent releasing these with the Jasper chip-set :confused:

(I'm also annoted cos i was going to sell my 20Gb HD (got a 120 now ;)) but it's gonna be worth bobbins now :mad:)

pretty much, although there are a few other internal changes too, yes Falcon has done the business :) but Jasper will improve on it even more ;)
 
So I wonder if they'll just gradually phase Jasper in or will they release another model of the 360 that launches with Jasper?

I'd imagine, just phase it in, like they did with the Flacon. Thats why I was surprised the 60Gb weren't Jaspers, would have thought this would be the ideal opportunity to bring out the new chipset :confused:

Jaspers run 65nm GPU. Valhallas will probably be out not long after and that has combined CPU & GPU, which would be a lot more benefical imo with 1 cooling solution (if it was efficent) and it would mean guarenteed no 3RROD, as well as being a lot quieter + also maybe slim360.
 
Does anyone know if its possible to either:

A) Buy this online for £180 but have it delivered after Sunday
B) Buy this for £180 on the highstreet

I am away till sunday, but want to get it at the £180 price tag if I can...
