60's 70's 80's Costume

I have a fancy dress party to go to in a couple of weeks, need some ideas for it. I dont want to go as the usual hippy/elvis/austin powers etc. Had a couple of ideas so far, Top Gun, Clyde (Bonnie & Clyde), Sunny

Anybody have some ideas

Was thinking Beatles but goin with a female (mate) which wouldnt work. Bowie was sugested but seemed too wierd.
