I am not 'skinny', not big, I am not lankey, just tall and rightly proportioned in my opinion. BMI says I'm a about right for my height as well.

Anyway, every single time I buy jeans, they never fit. I try them on before hand, but never really fit properly.

The last place I tried got closest to what I call a respectable fit, which is GAP.

I am 6'2" with a 32/33" waist. I have curiously long limbs haha. My struggle is, finding jeans with the right sized waist and the leg length to match. 9 times out of 10 I buy jeans that are right on the waist but the legs are a inch or 2 too high.

So, where do you guys suggest I try? As for jean style, I like simple, plain straight cut. None of that hipster skinny jean stuff, none of that faded and worn malarkey as well. Just bog standard straight cut, smart looking jeans that will last for a while to come.

Something like this:

Price isn't an issue, but I will have to be certain they will last me and fit very well to spend Levis price.

I'm 6'2" and have didn't have trouble finding jeans just go for 32/34" waist 34" inside leg.

Due to weight lifting I'm at the point where I have to wear boot cut or loose fitting jeans and for trousers have to get 36"/38" despite having a 34" waist.

I'm 6'4 and I don't have any trouble finding 34/34 jeans. Just bought some nice ones from Next & GAP which didn't break the bank.

Wordy - I have the same problem, my thighs are getting bigger and bigger and I struggle to get into straight cut jeans so I have to go with the loose fit. I think they look better than nancy-boy skinnies anyway so it's a bonus :p.

I'm 6'3" and 32" waist, don't really find it hard to get jeans that fit.

Generally any jeans that are marked as 32" Long or 32/34 will always fit me ok, some shops seem to stock more Long sizes than others I find. Burtons always seem to, Debenhams normally do (plus they always seem to have a selection of jeans for sale, you can get some really nice ones for a decent price)

Surely the 36" leg on the levi's must have you covered?

Just try measuring your inside leg...

I'm 6'2 too!

I have the same problem as you regarding jeans except my thighs are also profoundly thick.

I also wear jeans to work so they need to last a bit. Much as I would have liked to have spent £50 on a pair, I settled for some nudie jeans sharp bengts. They are punchy but are raw denim and fit.

Nudie are not the best raw denim but they are a good entry point. The same goes for Edwin and APC. All of them cost £90 to £130. "Proper" raw denim like iron heart is circa ,£200!

I came to the conclusion that 1 pair of jeans that fits comfortably and that I can abuse every day for a year is probably worth the price. It took me a long while to get to that mindset.

So yeah- nudie, Edwin or APC. All great entry points for proper denim rather than high street pap.

Edit regarding length. I got a pair of 38w/36l and they are hugely long. I could hem them by 3 inches and still have an inch of sag.

i'm a 32 waist and get 36 leg jeans - just about long enough!
usually buy from topman or H&M - they often would sell in those sizes (haven't bought any in a while though! - try the online shop)

Just checked the Next website and you can order 36" leg jeans from them. Just go into the shop and choose the style you like, then order them online.

Mine were £25 a pair and I really like them.

The Jeans I require for a perfect fit are 32/33 . So hard to find in stores and online. Always seems to go from 32" to 34". 32 are slightly too short and the hems get stuck on my trainer tongue and make my feet look massive and 34 are too long and bunch up too much at the bottom.

Next jeans fit me fine. I just go 34 (waist) Extra Long which should cover upto 36" leg.

You should have seen me trying to get jeans back in the 90's... NOWHERE really did anything above a 34" leg hence me having to wear boots all the time to stop me looking like my cat had died :(

Much better now TBH.

I'm 6'2" and I find buying 34" long isn't enough, as the waist will fit me but the legs will be too tight/short.

I find I have to buy 36" long to give me the amble leg room, then I just wear a belt.

lol - me too in the 80's/90's - impossible to get 36" long jeans then - also had to wear boots! which to be fair i have to even with 36" leg.

6'3" master race reporting in.

I have a 32 inch waist. I did manage to find some jeans down my local high street. Don't bother with primark because all their jeans are tight around the legs. Try Debenhams, that's were i got most of my stuff form.
