First up, this isnt a "serious" card. I am using it while waiting for the 8800GTS 320MB to be released, so I am sitting home and I figure, lets have some fun!
To begin with, the board is defaulted at "stock" clocks of 350/600MHZ.
My system comprises of:
E4300 @ 3319 (will overclock this more later on, I am happy with this speed so far, so havent pushed it further)
2GB of Geil Ram
Asus P5N-E SLI
MSI 6200 PCIE LE Turbo Cache 128MB (costs 30 pounds, from here) passively cooled.
Windows XP Pro, SP2, all updates installed. Latest Nvidia Drivers for the GPU installed.
RivaTuner is installed for the GPU overclocking.
Using 3d Mark 2001, I managed to get:
11447 @ 460/760
10881 @ 430/730
10296 @ 400/700
08551 @ stock
Not bad I don't think, for a card that costs 30 quid, and is basically a crippled 6600 series card. The TC series doesn't unlock, which is a bit of a shame really, because I could really have had a lot of fun if it did.
BTW, Counter Strike: Condition Zero @ 1600x900, is now perfectly playable at 80 - 100 FPS (usually stays at 100). Only time anything bad happens to the FPS is when you are in the middle of masses of smoke, then the FPS plumets like a stone to like 20 or so.
I really can't wait for my 8800 GTS to overclock though
