6230 died, cause unknown

my phone died yesterday
i literally put it in my pocket after reading a text
took it out two minutes later, and it was off
wouldnt switch on
have dried it out, no joy
going to try a different battery when my housemate wakes up
any suggestions as to what may have caused it? or what to try to fix it
i did get a pint of beer poured over me, which is why i've tried drying it out
however that was hours before it died
i'm giving it til tomorrow to work, i'm at work most of today
if not i guess i'll have to get a new phone

Funny that as mine is now starting to play up.

I use the sercerty key pad lock and the other day it wouldn't let me in at all.

Was anyoing a si had tons of txt's and missed calls. I got in the end and disbaled it.

Try Nokia reapir center. I'm off today to get my replacemnt 8800 as i'm sick of it playing up but also the phone genraly so it'll go on ebay once i get a new one this week
