yep as i think a lot of people started doing this due to a better joystick bit on the 6230i

Yes ,my mate has a 6230 with a 6230i keypad, works fine plus people think you have a better phone

It fits perfectly and im certain the screens are the same size

same size slightly different resolutions i think correct me if im wrong though because i dont own one

Yes i think the 6230i is a higher res.

the 6230 is far better imo, much faster phone, better battery life, the ability to 'delete all reports'!, small text fonts

my girlfriend has a 6230 and i had a 6230i, pretty sure the screen was slightly bigger on mine, either way the facia's wouldn't fit

6230i facias do fit, I had one on mine because I always pressed up or down instead of 'OK' on the old one
