Hi all :)

I've just got a 6300 oem and a p5b deluxe

Just waiting to buy some memory, and then i can put it together and o/c

I just wanted to know what people run there 6300's at 24/7 safely

coming from amd, don't have that much knowledge bout intel stuff

i'll be cooling it with my swiftech h20 120

any help mucho apprieciated :)

I run mine at 3.15 as my board limits me. Most runs theirs at 3.2+ with no problems. If it's stable and within same temp (below 60) + voltage (below 1.5v imo) range theres no reason not to run it as fast as possible. The h2o should help on the temp front also.

3.2GHz here, ram limited ( couldn't afford anything that would work at over 1000MHz) I think.

how can I tell that non of you fold

3.1ghz atm for the last week of uni as i can't have any problems.

Other than that i run at 3.5-3.6ghz, with the Vcore up to ~1.5V.

If you bought retail it should be on a sticker on the box ("L[WW][A/B]XXXXXXXX") like that. Otherwise it's on the CPU like that. I'm not sure if you can use CPU-Z to find out, I don't think you can though.
