Greetings,
Had 30 mins for a play. Pushed her upto 510. Science Mark, 32 Pi Run, Sandra Mem, CPU. Its a biggy hence the link

Not sure m8.

But will give it a run at 1M tommorrow.

Basically there is a post issue above 500 if it posts it boots in windows. I'm going to give the soft overlock ago from within windows.

Just about to give the Dark Messiah Demo a go now. Actually use it for some gaming , lol

Been landscaping the garden in between working so not had time for much else.

I can't wait to try out a dirty little Conroe system The Asgard has one sweet little chip there.

Any way of tightening those memory timings a bit? Those 7s could do with disappearing

Quite an amazing chip and its only being limited by the board. I get the feeling if I can get some more FSB the chip will just keep going.

If anything catches fire I think the mobo will go first. Good job I'm on water.

I'm going to try some soft overclocking. Might give this easytune a go. Anyone used clockgen with the DS4?

G Skill HZ.

Its just on Auto at the minute. Not maxed the chip yet. I usually mess with the timings once I am happy with the overclock. But even so the memory score is not too shabby even with those timings.

You might want to try 4-4-4 instead, should give you a bit of a boost

Though he is a GSkill tech, he claims they're retail not handpicked.

I have been very lucky so far with the cpu, ram mobo. G Skill is excellent memory

I have a brand new sealed P5W DH sat here along with a retail 6600. Just have not had the time to play because of the 6300 & DS4. How crazy is that !

Whats funny is I got it on a whim off fleebay for about 25% off retail...

Ah but the thoughts of what I could do with an E6600 like the one Anandtech have (4GHz on air) under my uber-expensive waterloop makes me stay awake at night.
