6300 C2D v PD 805?

i have one of these chips in a PD at the mo

how would a 6300 compare? or would i be better off waiting for the cheap C2D's like the 4300 (i think)?
 
I have a new motherboard and a 6300 sitting here waiting for my new HD... the 6300 will completely destroy the 805 (which I am replacing) in absolutely everything comparing stock against stock. The 805 needs to be at around 3.8ghz to match a stock 6300. (About half as efficient)
 
cool. will wait till the new year i think and see how cheap the chips are. might go for quad core if they arent too expensive
