64 Bit 4gb

its just like the standard OS, but it takes advantages of 64Bit.

most (if not all) programs can be run as 64Bit operating systems are backwards compatable with 32Bit apps.

therefore you should run into no problems

No one on OCUK Pirates! :D:p

I got my XPx64 free simply called up MS when it was released and they gave me a new key as I had an original 32bit version, so if you have that, wonder if they still do that?

Cheers Pug ;)

If your old computer has a retail copy of Vista32, all you need is the Vista64bit CD and you can use your existing Vista key, and it will work fine. Doesnt really matter if you download it, as long as you use your genuine key. MS do sell the 64bit disk for a few pounds + delivery if you ask for it.

However if your Vista 32 is OEM, then its tied to the original machine, and you should buy a new copy.

Of course by reusing a Vista Retail key on a new machine, you are required to uninstall it from the old machine, otherwise it's still considered piracy. The media itself is pretty beside the point. All that matters is the key, and if its retail, upgrade or oem.

they might do, considering its impossible to legally get it anywhere else.
