Why does my vista have the 32 bit iexplorer set as the default browser, ie. when I click the internet icon it launches 32 bit iexplorer, I can force 64 bit by clicking on the 64 bit iexplorer shortcut in start menu, but every time I click a link wherever, for example in msn, it launches 32 bit iexplorer, in the default app list there is no selection wich version of iexplorer to launch, so how can I fix this ?

It doesn't make a difference between the 2, ie. I can only select iexplorer 7, not the 32 bit or 64 bit version in the set default programmes page.

as said ie7 64bit is a bit of a waste of space at the moment.

Hardly (read if any) plug ins work, including flash, which i consider a must have for any kind of web browsing experiance.

Shame really.
