I've recently installed a 64 bit version of Windows 7.
It ran fine for a week or so, but now every time I try and start it, it boots into Windows and all my programs lock up (won't open or let me do anything in them), but the whole system doesn't lock up... I can still open task manager, open the windows menu etc.
Now, I have to force it off with the power button, then boot it up again and the same happens... force it off again, then the third boot everything works fine.
Seriously weird, and I'm just wondering if anyone can think of a logical reason this might be happening?
Cheers
