Hey folks,
Well, After I gathered 30 mins was not enough to test my RAM, I tried leaving one 1GB stick of my Crucial Ballistix 'Tracer' DDR500 ram in on a memtest for the last 3 hrs while I was out.
Came back, its reported 64 errors! All on test 5!
I take it this confirms its a faulty stick of ram?
I am going to contact Crucial tommorow as I bought it from them direct.
Only problem is, my other 1GB stick seems to work ok, and doesnt give the random crashes the other stick caused but I obviously dont want to RMA one if the other is faulty as well...But I dont wanna leave my comp on overnight
so can't test it
Started ages ago, I was using the 2 x 1GB sticks fine, they never worked in DC mode, but they are not the same batch number. But since taking one stick out it ran ok, but when I tried the other stick on its own, thats when I got a crash in IE, so thought id use memtest on that stick and voila...!
TBH I dont think I even want a replacement, i'd rather a refund so I can buy a proper 2GB kit that will work in DC and be reliable!

PS> It's worth adding I NEVER overclocked them, they ran at the standard 8-3-3-3 setting @ 2T I just left the BIOS to deal with it.
