6400 bottleneck 8800 gts 320mb?

Building new compy, originally planned to get the e6600 but this sweet sweet case took my fancy (Lian Li PC-B20A) so I thought maybe i could settle for the 6400 and still make my budget.
Ill prob clock this 6400 to 3ghz as i'm not a very experienced OCer (and i can't afford a meltdown!), so do u think this would match my 8800 gts 320mb adequately or would a 6600 do it much better justice (and that i should be shot for going for aesthetics over power!).

Any C2D @ 3ghz + will be fine for the 8800 series.

At 3 ghz the 6600 and the 6400 is unnoticable ingaming and evryday tasks.

Go for it. :D
