6400 or 6600

Im trying to prepare myself a spec in preparation for the release of conroe.
Problem is, Im unsure wether the £70 price increment from the 6400 to 6600 is worth it, i realise it has double the cache and an extra .27Ghz clock speed, but is this enough to warrant the price?
will I see a noticeable difference when gaming? if so, i will get it, its just it tips my budget just over £1000, which bums, on the other hand if anyone wants to spec me
a new rig for just under a grand minus speakers and case that'd also be great.

I would go with a 6600 just because it has 4mb (double the 6400) of cache on chip... worth it in my opinion mate and you would be able to clock it a lot faster then any AMD chip on the market including the FX chips

I think worth the extra money if you can afford it
