It depends, do you plan on overclocking or not? If so, how high do you plan to go?
The revision numbers of those two sets can be pretty important, too. Some are made with awesome high-frequency ICs, and some are made with ICs that do better at lower latency.
if you plan to oc the memory then cas 4, if your gonna run it at stock then cas 5 would be more than fine. Not sure what the average max fsb is on the DS3 mind you, but seen some cracking oc's on it so i would personally go C4.
Well with a DS3 your RAM runs 1:1, so it depends what cPU you have. For instance with my E6400 my RAM is at stock up to 333Mhz FSB using DDR667 RAM. With DDR800 RAM, the RAM would run at stock at up to 400FSB.
