64bit or 32 bit ?

Hi All I,m just wondering what the problems are with 64 bit Vista ,and are there now drivers for most hardware ? The reason i,m asking is i have all the parts to an update to my new P.C ...C2D E6600 , Motherboard , Memory , graphics card etc . But not sure if to get the 32x or 64 x OS ? any feedback will be taken on board . :confused:

All vista drivers that are WHQL certified have both 32 and 64bit drivers.

For more info on whether to go 32 or 64 bit have a search for past topics. Plenty of very useful info there.

The problem is just with driver availability/maturity on the whole, 64-bit drivers are as abundant as the 32-bit ones.

go for 64

if you have a creative xfi card, then stick with xp for now

I went for 64 bit and have yet to find any software that has not worked. Some have needed a work around but nothing to cause a problem.
