64bit trial to full

Hi, my mate wants to download the 64bit trial version to see if he likes it, however if he decides he does like it and purchases it, could he just change the cd key to the new one to make it a full version? The reason I ask is it'll be a hassle to have to reinstall it.

Not normally with MS trials, no.

I believe you can actually. You can with every other version of Windows, trials included.
