Hey guys i've ordered vista ultimate 64bit oem..

I want to know exactly what to do with installation..

People say take 2gb ram out as i have 4GB ram total so that it will install...

Then install updates etc..

Stick 2GB back in and im ok??

Explain it please

Thanks!

Personally I have never had a problem with installing vista with 4gb of ram... I say try it, if it dont work too well, then take out the 2gb, then install vista. turn off comp. put 2gb back in, then do the updates and the like.

Some people have had problems installing Vista with 4gb ram installed. If you have problems, thats the first thing you should do. But i would give it a go with 4gb. Ive never had a problem myself.

If you've only just ordered it then you're highly likely to get a disc with SP1 integrated, in which case this memory issue will have been fixed.
