64Freezer to XP-120

Just recieved a XP-120 care of me old mate Ted.From what i can see there is a bracket to replace the standard K8 heatsink surround.How difficult is the surround to fit?Do i have to remove the mobo to do it?

Nice one thanks mate.Hoping this cures that nagging noise [Mrs moaning about the freezer64 at full tilt]

For some odd reason mine is quite noisy,well noisier than anything else in the system should i say,i suppose running at 3GHZ for the last 6 months may have put the bearings under a little strain.

Heard so much about the XP-120 and thought it was about time i tried one.
