So I'm thinking of buying some DDR5 and I'm not sure if it's worth going for 64GB or just 32GB (or maybe 48GB, but that seems odd, are there any compatibility issues with 48GB?).
Is there any need fir 64GB?
The PC is mostly for gaming but some video editing/encoding. I plan to upgrade to a 9950X3D or 9800X3D (once I've seen what the 9950X3D is like) and will use a RTX 4090.
Since the 4090 has 24GB should I look to have more than 32GB RAM?
Is it harder to get 64GB (2 x 32GB) stable at 6000MHz?
Trying to decide if it would be good, a waste of money or even problematic to get 64GB during Black Friday.
