Another Spec me thread, sorry!

I currently have a Samsung 48 inch LED TV, around 8 years old.

I have gone into the whole OLED vs QLED and I am still undecided. I feel a QLED would be best suited as the TV is on during the day (background noise, for both me while I work and the dog). The TV is also in a well lit room. We have recently had an extension so the back of the house is largely bi-fold doors and windows.

I am looking at a 65’ inch screen due to the new size room. Not sure if I am best holding out until Black Friday, however, I have been looking at both:

LG OLED65B9 (currently £1,800) or Samsung QE65Q70R (£1,300)

The TV will be used for SKY (manly HD channels), Netflix, YouTube and Plex media streaming. I do not own a games console.

I also have a Samsung HWMS650 All In One Sound Bar (not sure if that will influence any suggestions)

Is there any other recommendations, brands, makes or technology I should consider?

The B9 is the better TV by far.

I'd only get QLED if you are scared about burn in, if you display static content on ur screen a lot or your room is VERY bright and you have problems with reflections. I very frequently play music from my TV and leave the player on out of laziness so an OLED would be a bit of a pain for example.

Thats the issue, i would say BBC is on for most of the day (background noise, and for the dog). I guess burn in would not be an issue albeit the TV is on for long periods of time. As above per my original post. The TV is also in a very well lit room.
