I just bought a 65'' Panasonic DX902B.

I'm thinking of investing in a 1080titan to fuel this beast.

However someone on AVforums had said you can't tell the difference between 4k and 1080p on a 65'' screen from 2metres to 2.5metres away.

I find it a bit hard to believe given 4k YT content looks incredible on this set as does some 4k clips I have but I wanted some reassurances if possible before splashing the cash?

Thank you,

I just bought the 58 inch version of that TV and I've been tempted to make the same move myself lol. So much so I ordered a 1080ti but then wimped out and cancelled.

Can't justify the cost really when I've got a 1080 already

The difference is like night and day. When I went from 42" TV to a 55". I was also sceptical about the visible differences. I was then in Currys and seen 2 55" LG TV's side by side one being 1080p and the other 4K

Anything over about 42inch in 1080p will have a grainy look in comparison.
