Hello there General Hardware. Been a while since I was in here, I went Mac and am in no rush to come back... ;)

However, there's still the occasional PC user who wants me to give them a hand and someone has asked me what I could put them together for about £650. Understandably, I'm a little out of the scene and don't have much idea as to what is to go for these days.

There's nothing strenuous, playing a DVD is probably the toughest challenge it will face, but the price is to include monitor (I presume we'd be able to fit a 22" in) and nice (but not extravagant) mouse and keyboard.

Go, go GH!

Just something I threw together. The motherboard has the Intel X4500 onboard graphics and should be adequate for the 24" I am sure (for general use ;)).

Obviously you could swap to a 22" but I thought may aswell max out the budget ;) Depends if you/the person likes the case + keyb/mouse I have selected. I did originally use a antec 300 and a corsair 450w but then I couldn't use the 24" monitor :) If you're buying it you will also get free delivery too if you register your forum acc.
