£650 gaming rig. First build and would like some advice :)

Hey everyone,

I'm new around here and got recommend here by a friend. I've recently put together a rig and would like to know if it's up to scratch.

My intended use for this pc is gaming (hopefully 1080p at a solid 60fps) and audio work (recording, Mixing, mastering)

My budget is around £650, if you can suggest any cheaper or not needed parts in my build, then I'd be very grateful!

I'm still very new to building PC's so I would definitely appreciate any eyes that can look over my build and make sure that all the parts will be compatible with each other and of course that I'll have a decent PC out of it as well :)

Since I'm a newbie to this, let me know if I have anything unnecessary, pointless or just plain crap in my build. I'm more than happy to trim it down. Is there anything here (apart from the OS) that I have missed out that is essential or highly recommended?

I already have a keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

I ended up going for the Antec case that stulid linked and a master-hyper-212 cooler. The Antec has 158mm space for a cooler but the master-hyper-212 is 159mm...

Hopefully there'll be some leeway...I hope :(
